MAIN  STREET BREAKDOWN

Dear guitar players,

I would like to invite you to another edition of my Online Guitar Workshop via Zoom!

It will happen on Saturday, 24. April at 02.00 PM, we will make two sessions à 40min with a short break in between.

If anyone is worthy of the title “Mr. Guitar”, it’s surely Chet Atkins. This Workshop will be about one of the great songs from him, titled: Main Street Breakdown.

I like tunes like this… sounds hard, but easy to play! A user friendly introduction into Chet Atkins hybrid picking style (pick, middle and ring finger).

First we learn how to play the melody of Main Street Breakdown. The second part deals with a written out and clearly explained Solo over the chord structure of the tune. A Guitar Tour de Force filled with 6th intervals, double stops, open strings, bendings and more!

As always you will receive MP3’s with the guitar parts and a PDF with Notes and Tabs.
