Jazz Solo Concepts Part 1

If you want to improve your ability to improvise over jazz standard chord progressions, this lesson is for you! We’ll work through five soloing studies, playing over the changes to five well known jazz standards. In each solo we focus on a specific improvisational approach like:
-Connecting chord tones
-Melody development
-Arpeggios
-Riff based Solo (question & answer)
-Arpeggio extensions + chromatic scale
Each solo is performed and I will break it down for you note by note, everything is written out in notes and tabs.
